Do I need an authorisation letter from my wife if I'm to register our child at my wife's alumni school pri school? Or authorisation letter is only for non-parents registering the child?

Are u registering this year? So you are going under phase 2A2 at your wife’s primary school? Have a look at MOE’s website for the documents required. I think she needs to bring her old report book or graduation cert or some other proof.

Both parents’ original ICs are also required. But only one parent needs to be there to do the actual registration for 2A2. Meaning you do not need her authorization.

If you are separated or divorced, things are different of course.
