Hi,for the question in EL Paper 2 cloze passage, the people will decide where to build the pyramid (or something like that)_____ on the position of stars(or planets or something like that).

My ds put \"depending\" for the blank, is that correct?

      Thanks

      I put \"based\".

I put carbon dioxide and circle.

In the photosynthesis question, there was a cork in the beaker to prevent water from evaporating into the surroundings and the rate of photosynthesis is higher than the rate of respiration so the rate of photosynthesis will decrease after the carbon dioxide is used up and the plant needs to respire more to release more carbon dioxide.

Then the shadow question… the metal ball is further away from the screen than the square thingy, so even though when the lines are drawn in the diagram they look about the same size, but actually the circle shadow will be bigger than the square shadow.

JMHO for putting those answers down.

Hi!!!! I just checked the online application thing for NYGH and the column that says \"offer a place at NYGH\" is successful. I'm really happy. NYGH is my dream school! Oh. And it was updated today. 😄 😄 😄

:congrats: Did you apply under GEP or mainstream?

I'm from Rosyth School, applied under GEP

      :congrats: Are you GEPer? Thanks.

Yes. And I did not have to sit for GAT or go for interview.

Apparently RI's principal was among the interview panel today.

One of my DS's school mate was ask what would he like to be, a dog or a cat ?
And the boy answered that he would like to be a dog cos most of his female classmates like cats. LOL
That's cute. Wonder if the Principal would be amused... 😂
