NTU LCK, NUS YLL and NUS Dentistry are 3 of the most difficult to get in courses with rounds of elimination. Should your DD be selected to attend MDT, I would suggest she give it a shot. Three components of the MDT were on paper, wire and plasticine. Nothing to prepare since its few days from invite. Just relax and listen to instructions, watch your timing (60 mins) and complete the three task as close to model as possible - size, weigh, dimension, etc. Should your DD survive this round, next round will be interview. Only 80 places will be offered with xx number under waitlist. All the Best.

NUS Medicine has invite offered and waitlist students to attend this Saturday (13-May) event at YLL. Wonder what is that about especially if you are only on waitlist? Is that their usual yearly practice?

My Dd got an offer letter for her 2nd choice: Dentistry. Her first choice medicine for both NUS & NTU are under waitlist. How the waitlist goes for her now? Will NUS reject her medicine waitlist? Deadline to accept Dentistry is 24 May.

NUS has started notifying selected candidates for interview. More will be call up in the next few days.

My DD is going for her NTU - Multiple Mini Interviews (MMI) early Apr.

Any preparation require or just be yourself kind of approach?

From NTU website: Interviews at LKCMedicine will consist of Multiple Mini Interviews (MMI), where candidates will undergo several one-to-one interviews with different interviewers, designed to assess a candidate’s aptitude and suitability for the MBBS programme. Applicants invited for the selection interviews will complete a series of eight mini interviews, each lasting approximately five minutes, conducted consecutively in eight separate interview rooms.

My DD got shortlisted for MMI. Anyone know how many got invited for MMI each year? 1200 applicant? How about NUS? Also 1200 applicant?

According to my daughter. Assuming you perform so well for both. NUS will only issue an offer letter for a place in either Medicine or Dentistry (depending on 1st choice). They will not issue offer letters to both for you to decide. Anyone know of students being offered both Medicine & Dentistry? :?

Is there truth that once you select NUS Medicine as first choice and Dentistry as second choice. NUS will no longer consider you for Dentistry since they are not place as first choice - Vice versa. Then first choice seems to be the only choice unless you are also considering other fields of study.
