need your advise here. I have 1 boy (SC) who is only eligible under phase 2c . no school within 1km and the school within 1-2km zone is Hong Wen, Kong Hwa, GMPS, Canossa and Bendeemer.


HW and KH are out under phase 2C for 1-2km. Remaining ones are GMPS, Canossa and Bendeemer. I am still indecisive between Canossa and GMPS. I like Canossa for its small size but wonder how come the school seems rather unpopular compared to GMPS? Any kind soul for some advise pls?

Hi any feedback on gmps? Cant find much feedback. When I called the school to enquire, I was asked to check out the yearbook instead.

Canossa Convent and Stamford have always been \"bao jiak\" for SC (any distance) in Phase 2C. Doubt that will change in the near future.

Canossa Convent conversion would probably have no significant impact on registration. If anything, it at least guarantees the school's survival in the short term (by admitting some boys to make up for the shortfall in girls).

I am considering changing my child from childcare to kindergarten. May I know how you find AK? Do they prepare adequately for P1? How are the teachers good?

My boy is now in K1. He has been with Ascension Kindergarden since N1. It is a happy school and they are very systematic. The teachers are caring and my boy always enjoy going to school. Not sure about preparation for primary school though but in K1, he doesnt have any homework to bring home, which is what we prefer.

@galaxryrider, yay, thanks my intention. to try GMPS in phase 2c and if we cannot get it, then we go for beedeemer or stamford. I researched but there is very little info about Beedeemer or stamford. Anyone has any insights?
