My girl goes to her grandparents on days like these. I will usually notify the school that my child does not have access to computers so she will be given physical worksheets to do.

Then at night when we (parents) are back home, we would then go online to see if the relevant assignments can still be accessed. If we could, then my girl would then complete the online work.

thanks, krazy. Have a great time supervising the kids for these two day of HLP.

For Home-based Learning (HBL) starting from 1 to 2 April 2014 (Tue and Wed), I understand that the school will send out a timetable after 5 pm today.

At first, I though it was similar to distance learning (own time own target). School give homework, then students will do it during that day, any time.

However, through friend, HBL seems more like "home-schooling" with timetable.
So students are "encouraged" to follow the timetable for their learning on both dates. Does this means kids have to be online and in front of a computer throughout the learning time? Does this means parent(s) have to be with kids all the time (given the child’s competency in computer)? In other words, parents have to apply leave during this period too.

Any parent can share how they cope with this please?

If i am not wrong, the whole school is single session. 😄
Yes, it is single session. Have to be in School Hall by 7.25am. Leave school at 1.40pm.

      Hi p1 mums of 2014,

My dd is from purity and timetable is out.
Mon to thurs have PE! Does that mean that they are suppose to wear PE attire for the four days of the week??

      Thks!
My DD is in purity too. On Sunday, she told me that she doesn't like the pinafore too, as it was too hot. However, I was afraid that she would be cold with PE attire this morning as it was raining....

I was thinking of ordering the books online and collect it at school during orientation. After see ur post, then realize cannot now. Then why this options still in the information pack?

Perhaps they never update the information pack 🙂

Then hve to queue long long during orientation for the books.
