    • RE: DSA via sports

Jumping into this thread so I don't start up another one šŸ™‚ I just wanted to check if anyone has had any experience joining a school like Nanyang Girls/Raffles Girls through sports DSA if mother toungue is VERY average. My daughter does really well in track and field, and also in Maths/Science/English but as we lived overseas until Primary 2, she did not start learning Chinese until she was 7 years old. She has done very well in catching up and is passing her chinese but not the greatest (and definitely not to the standard I read these schools learn at). She would really like to apply for DSA next year in one of these 2 schools (her sports buddies are all trying to go there too) but from what I read I am really not sure they are the best school for someone with not very good chinese. Any thoughts or schools you could recommend for her to try DSA?

I am not from SG so I am still learning the school system šŸ™‚
