Pen88n:
Heard that they wait list about 70 because they expect 1/3 of co to choose hci, nush and acsi. Know of acsp ge boy first choice acsi and do ri dsa for back up. I am sure nyhp do the same with hci and there are some die hard nus h, so those on wl has reasonable chance, sound like I am consoling myself. Anyway prelim is coming. I better focus on it and park dsa aside.
Please do not think of it that way. There is at least 170-180 vacancies in RI for the GE boys. It cannot be all 170 - 180 of them are having average above 80%. Good luck and keep cool! Anyway, sometimes things are fated - what is yours is yours!Blur Dad:
No lar. My DS scored below 80% for SA1. Slim chance to get CO from RI, but will encourage my DS to try his best. Even can get WL also slim chance to get in. How many will give up their offer after getting CO from RI? -
RE: DSA 2011
Vlim don’t need to wait for co, can go Bibi baba and buy in advance, avoid all the crowd!!

Is ok this is like a tv advertisement well waiting for news hahaaaaa
Last day of ge interview is on 12 Aug. Long time to wait, so I am not waiting, also think that interview is just a formality to see if you are sane, human, not autistics etc. Vlim you just have to wait for the co. Cheers -
RE: DSA 2011
Following the maths Olympiad thread. There are 75 smops platinum holders. Ds also came in among top 30 in nus high nmos, for acsi maths Olympiad he also came into the highest category. The only maths olympiad which he didnt win the top category is ri world maths contest. Looks like he and ri are not to be. But it is ok, we like acsi and nus high too just that it is much farther in distance. Didn’t apply hci.

My ds same case above 79.5 below 80 with platinum snips and grade 8 piano achieved two years back. Looks like he will be on waitlist. I will prepare him for waitlist status after the interview. But would like to know chance if on wait list. His p5 was 83%. Thanks

[quote=\"verykiasu2010\"]just feel that the schools whose selection test / camp / interview are 'purposely' uncompromising year after year ...... okay got to make a choice, and it would be much better to choose after the offers are made rather than choosing whose test to forego ......
By 12pm today, ds will have completed 3 dsa tests, one each for acsi, ri and nush. He is left with ri interview and hopefully nush camp then the focus will be on the psle. -
