Q2. Tom, Jaya and Muthu had some amount of grapes each. If Tom gave Jaya 864g of grapes, Tom and Jaya will have an equal amount of grapes. If Jaya gave 864g of grapes to Tom, he would have 1/4 of what Tom had. Muthu’s amount of grapes is the total amount of grapes of the other two boys. How many kilogrammes of grapes did they have altogether?

    • RE: Q&A - P5 Math

Hi its my first time in Kiasu Parents.

Need help on a P5 Math question:

      1. Classes 5A and 5B have the same number of pupils. The ratio of the number of boys in 5A to the number of boys in 5B is 2:3. The ratio of the number of girls in 5A to the number of girls in 5B is 7:4.

      a) Find the ratio of the number of boys to the number of girls in 5A.
      b) If there are 15 fewer girls than boys in 5B, how many pupils are there in 5B?

      Thanks much! :xedfingers:
