Which dictionary will you recommend for lower primary?

You might want to consider Marlinsons' 课文词语练习. Simple to use and follow the textbook's chapter words to create the colourful pictures and has English words so that my DS can understand the meaning of the vocab from that chapter better.

There is a new chinese listening comprehension book for P3 to P6 by Marlinsons.

That is good, I have been using the same one for my older and younger one for the last few years now. New materials will be good to test my young one and in time to prepare for the end of the year examination !!!

My son is still using the same format. I don't think there is any chance for the P4s.

My son is in P4 and the English oral discussions are different from those in these post. Does anyone has any recommendation which is a good oral book based on the new syllabus that I can get hold of?

Are there any commercially sold past year secondary school 2013 papers? They are few and far between.


My son is in Sec 1 this year and wanted him to have a feel of the papers that is expected of him. I have seen many generous people offering their past year papers to others. If I could get all the subjects from location in 1 place, soft copy or hard copy with all answers would really help him moving to the new syllabus.

Anyone has this lobang? Been around shop selling with not much luck. Even free download has not come easy as well.

My kid has been doing the 词语练习 for 1 month now. Book is very comprehensive with all the 词语 that are in the text book. Now I do not need to get another book to get my kid to practice as I feel many a time, the other publishers did not have enough words for my kid to practice.

Really happy with this book. Can see that my kid has improved his understanding of the words better than before.

Where can I get 2013 Chinese test papers? Those sites mentioned are without the 2013 version. Can anyone advise? Thank you so much.
