Anyways before appealing just check with the school if they would accept or even consider it.

It’s true. The ministry should have informed the parents / public sooner instead of keeping it quiet and make it an internal directive. It’s a waste of time for parents to appeal to a sch when the sch can’t accept the appeal coz it’s below their cutoff. Parents do take note the other option is to work harder and trxfr out after Sec 1 or 2.

. As for appeals what I heard from two ( vp and p of different schs) is that
They are not going to accommodate your child’s appeal if the tscore is below the sch cop. Apparently it’s a new directive from moe but only known to the sch principals and vp. Asked why don’t they inform all parents. The principals answer was "why should it be me?"
It should be moe who informs all the parents.
Please correct me if I’m wrong and in this case I really love to be wrong about this.
