Hi all, understand that you all are frustrating over the upcoming math psle for you/your child and over what assessment or textbooks to pruchase that is most helpful. :imdrowning: I took my PSLE in 2011 so i should know how terrifying it can be haha. But with hard work and a lot of practice, i assure you the results will be A or above! Let me recommend several books -
1. \"Upper primary math model methods, techniques and strategies\" by Aden Gan. This is a textbook and workbook in one. it is VERY useful, but hard to get in popular nowadays.
2. The Andrew Er series. They are all assessment books, but the practices are detailed and essential. Some questions can be rather challenging as well, so that is a plus!
3. Past year papers. This is not a book, but past year papers are a must in your preparations. I managed to complete 8 year's worth of papers (i think that's rather a lot haha) and i can say that it paid off - A* for math. :boogie:
By the way, if any of you are interested in purchasing the Upper pri math model methods book by aden gan, feel free to enquire. I am selling mine at half price of when i bought it. It is in good condition. I bought it for $19.90 but selling now at $10 only. Useful book.
have a good day. :boogie:

RE: 2016 PSLE Discussions (Born in 2004)
Hi all, understand that many of you are worried for your child's PSLE. For math, you just have to do more practices and attempt more past year papers as well as consult more textbooks/workbooks. The method was or me was to resort to the solutions in the workbooks, and refer to the bar model solutions if i am unclear. I believe this will benefit the PSLE-takers greatly. I took my PSLE in 2011, and was very worried for the math paper. In my honest opinion, Aden Gan's \"Upper Primary Math Models Methods, Techniques and Strategies\" works best. It is a textbook and workbook in one. Very detailed and simple to understand. Hard to find in popular nowadays. I still have the book now. Selling on carousell, $10. Have a nice day. :rahrah: :rahrah: :rahrah:
