You mean among the students? Sound bad though I did not hear of it staying around Bedok area...

We went to Dunman Sec school where my daughter is posted this morning. Apparently the class list are out: Express 1A to 1E, NA 1F and 1G and NT 1H. My daughter will be posted to class 1B.

Hard to believe that the schools that used to have cop 23+ have a higher cop now ..

My DD will be joining Dunman Sec Express in Year 2014 after missing Ngee Ann Sec COP. Any one studying there can share the recent school culture and activities? Missed the open house in Nov 2013. Heard from another tread the COP has increased to 232 this time.

My DD got 229 and i intend to choose the following. Can someone kindly advise the chances of getting into Temasek. We stay in the East.

1) Temasek (COP 232)
2) Ngee Ann (COP 234)
3) Katong Convent (COP 226)

Or should i not waste the chance & choose Katong Convent as first choice.

For your information our school's cut off points for the 2013 Sec 1 cohort are:

what do you mena by same COP as last year for Ngee Ann Sec? For Year 2014, any chance of going in if the T-score is 233 only for Year 2014? Thanks

So here is a related question on affiliation. I am planning to bring my child from an external school into a school with affiliation - currently thinking either Ngee Ann Sec or St Hilda Sec.


Is there a \"standard\" by which the school adheres to when they determine the proportion between how many \"affiliation\" or \"non affiliation\" students they bring in? eg. is it 60/40?

I understand that the COP number for affilation has been determined by the school prior to selcetion. For Ngee Ann, was told Year 2012 is 215, Year 2013 is 220 and Year 2014 will be 225. The remaining places will then be given to non- affilated students once the affilated are filled up.
