sorry, didnt realise sarchar has also offered answers already...

heehee no problem at all. Mine is a mess but your answer explained very well.

DH is the one who coaches DD1 maths. Glad DD1 knows the answers. After all, she just attended a 4 days boot camp with DH. :rotflmao:

that sounds very interesting... http://i45.tinypic.com/2a8hlz7.gif\">
DD1 Math result just got back today - 96 marks! :rahrah: This is her 1st 90pt Math paper since pri 1. DH thinks he deserves the credit for the 4 days boot camp :rotflmao:

Thanks for sharing the questions here. Having DD1 tried out some of the questions here did boost her confidence before her Math paper.

• RE: Hello Everyone! I am new here!

DD1’s Math paper was yesterday. She said she should get 98 marks.

DH told me privately ‘minus 10 marks for carelessness’ LOL

Her weakest paper CL is today…today is Science paper!
Then we will all be free to enjoy the long weekend!

Summer period is peak season. So its true maybe not able to upgrade on spot. I went during winter off peak but actually it was quite crowded too.

Thanks Dnls_mum. We are considering between Grayline and Wildlife tours - only these 2 responded to our email queries.

Also, can I ask if it is worth paying extra for the penguin parade for the viewing platform? TIA.
We did pay extra for the viewing platform. Personally I think it is worth it. There were so many more penguins coming up this way.

For those at the normal platform, sometimes there were so few penguins so the people were allowed to stand along the deck as the penguins walked to their nest. But you cannot see the penguins swim up to the shore from this long deck.

We only upgraded at the station. There were some last min discounts. Not sure if you want to take your chance though.

Hi,

Like to check where to declare the kids milk powder? Have to declare those milk powder in the checked in luggage?
Actually as long as it is sealed, no problem to bring milk. I even bought a 2kg packet of Thai Rice on our trip because DD2 has a picky taste. They let me through. Every morning, I cooked the plain rice and put in warmer. Then we fed our girls with the rice and whatever food (BBQ chicken, Fish&chips etc) we bought along the way.

• RE: Catholic High (Primary)

2am:
Thanks.

I guess I am getting worried and very panicky about this whole primary one stuff.
I have been getting stressed out by conversations with parents I met who said that my son is very fortunate because he is very carefree! no extra lessons etc and till now he can't count properly to 100.
The child care i sent him to said no need as he only needs to learn up to 20...
I tried to teach but am not good and he can't seem to absorb too. Then when i told the child care which primary school he will be going, they tell me standard very high and my son maybe not prepared????

So now i get pretty worried.
Sigh
Dont worry too much about this. When DD1 was in pri1, she only knew additional up to 10! We didnt teach her at all! :slapshead: Failed her additional quiz and got ZERO.

She told me \"i am not the only one with zero\". Apparently those who got ZERO had to stand up. So DH told her \" next time please try to get at least 2 marks, then dont have to stand in the class.....\"
So lame my DH :heresmyfish:

Now pri4 -her maths is not too bad.
