      Hello Sean Wife,

i did see similiar boots at other night markets along the way in Taiwan. Anyway do check the weather before the trip.

Crocs do have plastic boots. You can check their expo sales. But dont buy now as it may not necessary rain "all the way" in Dec. Our trip was bad luck…rained whole day most of the time for 1/2 of trip!

Dear ckhoo5 - We stayed at highest point Starry Minsu for 2 days. The electric blanket is more than enough. We have to switch it off after 1 hr because we were sweating.

On normal mid Dec weather at Cingjing, we only wore long sleeves with windbreaker/cotton sweater.

I also wore Uniqlo heattech ! Good and comfy.

However if you are going to Hualian from Hehuanshan route, you must wear good quality jacket. We had to change into “real” winter jacket even though it was for 1 hr stop at Hehuanshan. We had our bunnie hats & snow gloves on only for 1 hr. The cold was brittle. It actually snowed the day after we stopped at Hehuanshan. The other family we travelled with, wore windbreaker. Their younger kids cried from the cold and the older boy vomited.

You may want to monitor the weather when the dates are near. If it is going to rain a lot, try to buy plastic boots from Taipei night market for less than $ 20 each. We had our leather boots on. After 16 days and 8 days of RAIN, our boots were in a bad condition. Should have bought the plastic boots!!

      Hi dolly23,

Yes settle your air tickets first - that's the most important. Then your hotels and followed by the dining reservations. The Fastpass reservations will also come up around Oct if you are staying onsite for visits in Dec. So try to confirm your trip soon if you are indeed planning to go.

And btw, I'm still trying to book Fantasmic! Dining Package - it's so so hard to get 😓 :frustrated: . For those who have been there before, will I need to queue very early to get into Fantasmic if I am unable to get any reserved seating? Or shall I get a Fastpass? Any advice on this?

      Thank you 😄

If you are unable to reserve Dining for Fantasmic show . Just Q early . But they will not let you in . So when we there during early Dec , we Q and ate finger food as our dinner.
Do note : Early Dec is not Peak Season. Happy Planning. :xedfingers:

Hello - there are 2 Fantasmic shows timing. The 1st is 6.30pm and 2nd is 8.30pm.

8.30pm timing is generally not as crowded.

With F! dining package - we will be in 6.30pm timing.

      regards!

      hi tinker_bel,

which airline are you taking ?
i also dont know .. seem like i am super late in this planning.
nothing starts yet, and from all the research, all have advised to go f & e instead of package
      Hi dolly23,

The FALL resort-only promotion is still available. Maybe there will be limited rooms but you might still make it.

To plan this late, you miss out on the free dining but can make up with FALL promo. I only worry about crowd levels and dining reservation. :scared:

To find available options on airlines - you can check on http://www.zuji.com
this will give you the idea of transit and timing. After you decide on the best timing n the flight you want, then go directly to that airline website to get the price quote.

I booked on United becos i have a domestic flight to Las Vegas and I wanted my flights on 1 ticket. At United website, I picked only ANA sharing for the long haul flights. It is cheaper by almost $ 500 per ticket than booking at ANA directly.

      regards!

      regards!

Tinker-bel, you are so lucky to plan so well and fit into the free dining promo period! How do you fare on the ADRs? Did you get all the dining ressies you need cos you booked your package much later?

20 Dec onwards will be peak period and it will be gradually increased to crowd level 10 ! I think I will have heart attack dealing with the crowds.

I will be in Orlando 4 to 17 Dec (Crowd level 2-5). I have a split stay so that I can get free dining for 5 days from 12 to 17 Dec. Thats fine. Better than nothing. 🙂

My girl’s just had her prelim Oral. The question posted is on "Has anyone annoy you before and what did she do, what happened after…?" Such a negative question.

You can consider Scotland in June. Its not too warm yet and some places are still quite cool. If you go during Dec, rain is almost everyday!

Summer will give you more daylight !

    • RE: Should I tell my friend that her hubby is having affair?

      SarChar:

I am very emo these few days because on Sunday, my colleague posted kissing pictures of himself and a girl (not his wife) on facebook. But he is married with 5 months old boy! I think the girlfriend was tired of waiting for him to divorce or simply wanted to cause trouble so she took his phone and update intimate pictures of their outings. The wife saw the pictures so did all of us at the same time!

So ruthless woman to bring such a blow to the wife.

A man I thought - good colleague, good manager, good boyfriend then a good husband and now a father etc .....has been living a double life since 2011 before he had a baby!

The shameless couple even created their own facebook....all the check in and the dates on facebook...Their public declaration of love for each other was too much even for me. I cannot imagine how his wife is coping with all these. The wife might have known it yet put up a brave front during our Xmas company dinner.
I posted this in 2013. I just thought I will give a quick update.

The very generous wife's patience paid off. The little woman left the husband. The Husband took 1 month off work to nurse his sorrows. His wife took good take care of him during this period.. No quarrel but tender love to cheer him. Long story short. They are back togther. Salute the Wife.
