RE: My First Skool (former NTUC Childcare)
Pucca-Gal:
HI Pucca-Gal, are you aware that your centre has no CCTV? Is this common practice for MFS?
Hi! My son was enrolled there since 3 years old, till now. He loved the school & the teachers so much that he will share with me what he does everyday in school. I still remember I've been to 1 of the school (at bishan too...) whereby all the kids looked so restless, quiet..Unlike MFS Blk 245, I was greeted by the kids on my 1st visit there. They even chitchat & share their toys with me. Hahah!bozz:
Hi parents any review on MFS at Blk 245 Bishan?
Any advise is appreciate.
Thank You
Although some of the teachers are quite young there, but don't worry, they are definitely experienced teachers. They are very attentive & caring towards kids. The principal is also a very nice & kind lady, whom will hear each & every parents' opinions, comments etc. I will highly recommend this school if you are considering to enrol your kids there.

Thanks will most likely volunteer for nyps one.scg8866t:
I just paid $1000 for nyps alumni. One question, is it necessary to volunteer at for example their upcoming nygh fun fair? Does it make a diff in the enrolment of my son? They asking for donations and to help set up stalls there.
You will already be registering at phase 2A1. However, many alumni would have paid $1k to join the association for the benefit of the earlier phase as well, so it's really anybody's guess whether there will be balloting at 2A1.
I would say P1 registration has little, if any, to do with helping out at NYGH. It will not put you in a better stead at phase 2A1. However, it might be of some relevance if you have been helping out at NYPS in the event that you do not get a seat at P1 registration. -

Is it a lifetime membership? Or renewable with a fee? -

RE: Nanyang Kindergarten
One last question. Since NYK is not affliated with NYPS and NYK is only half day(3 hours). There is no reason for sending my son there right? Might as well choose a good kindergarten nearby my house that is full day. Adter K2 then move to NYP.
