Any news on PV for next year registration?

For PV : PLMGPS has their PV application form on their website and they usually select PVs by June of every year for the following year. So if you are looking to register July 2018 for intake in 2019, you will need to have submitted your form earlier this year so that you can start volunteering from now until June 2018 if you are selected.

Higher Chinese >> sorry, no input here as its something I have not looked into for PLMGPS.

They usually select their PVs by June of each year. So if you are looking for 2019 intake, you should fill up the PV form in early 2018 and they will notify you by late June / early July 2017 if you have been selected. I was fortunate to be selected this year so I only just started volunteering. I heard that there were > 80 applications and they selected 20 PVs.

I applied for PV at PLMGPS. I am an old girl from PLMGSS (don’t qualify for PLMGPS alumni) and wanted to find out if there are other old girls from PLMGSS who’s applied for PV and their success rate? I live in Hougang but more than >2km away. I am so nervous about this as I really want my girl to get into PL. Any insights will be highly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Irony_84 : my friend just told me that rejections were via a letter last year so maybe it’s the same process. I guess if we don’t get a call from them this week, it probably means we didn’t get selected.

Congrats Aayeo80! I have not received any information from Rosyth re outcome of the interview. Perhaps they might call or email this coming week as they will want to give us enough time to look at other options. Fingers and toes crossed!
