      I'm thinking of either

      if Chinese in general
      http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=17003

      if specific to NYPS
      http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=4406

since the thread starter stated this is Nanyang issue, it should be parked under NYPS, so that more NYPS parents can share their view points

Yes, I like to see this worked out in the Nanyang issue! If there are tips for us in Nanyang or going to Nanyang I would like to hear about it.

I need some advices badly. Pl help! :?

I've been thinking to put my ds under the learning bliss' care but after seeing his tiredness due to waking up early, I'm not sure if I should just let my maid to pick him up after school and have more rest time at home. Pls help! :?:

My take is that rest is good! The Kids need to rest to grow they need time out to think and play... That is provided you can get them to rest while you are at work and then work with you later.
On the other hand you might want to get all the homework done at learning bliss so that you can get them to bed earlier for the same amount of \"rest\" kids adapt quite well but there will be days when they need time off so you need to be alert. šŸ™‚ Depends on the child and the support you have at home.

Hi all, my son will be starting Pri 1 at NYPS next year. It's prob a bit way off, but I need to plan our June holiday! (yup......getting priorities straight to destress after half year.....heheh). Could the experienced parents tell me, for the mid-year break, does the school have any orgnised activities that the child must/should attend and if so when do they occur? eg outings, enrichment classes etc.

Thanks and hope to be an active member of this thread!!

year 1 ? can safely say no. enjoy your break! if you are booking redemption tickets, book now !

Yahoo!! Thank you for the update.. May I ask if in Primary one the is Extracurricular activities...CCA etc? or does it start later?

      Thank you...

Does anyone know if there are auditions for the String Ensemble for the 2012 Primary ones? Who do I contact?

I note that the CCA days for String Ensemble is wed and Thurs. Is that for 2 days?

How about contacting the teachers in charge?

MDM ADELIN TOH TAN PENG [email protected]
      MOK SZE HUI [email protected]
      SHIRLEY ONG [email protected]

I believe for the 2 days, one day is for lower primary and one for upper primary.

Hi thank you for the information
