I guess the bookstore business is a sunset business, what with amazon and all. Maybe in the future only Popular will be around because of the assessment book business.

The way business models are changing is quite scary. Must really adapt or die with the internet age.

But I really like Borders and would go there often with my kids. Hopefully singapores borders can be around for a longer time.

      Hi TAS,

When would your next bookfair be? I am interested to get your storybooks. You still have books by Chris Ryan?

      Hi TAS,

I would also like to reserve 3 slots for the Science toy making but mine is on the 24 dec. Could I purchase some storybooks from you then as well?

      Hi TAS,

Do you recommend your creative writing book for a primary 3 kid who has no interest in reading or writing? Would he be able to pick up the techniques? I want to send my child to your centre but it is a bit far for me. So I am hoping the book can at least help to improve his marks from 12 to about 14 or 15 marks over 20.
MPH sale happening in Dec

      17 Dec to 19 Dec.
      Hall 6B
      Time: 9am to 9pm.

I'm expecting much of the same as what happened in Nov so not too keen on going.

Me too, intend to give it a miss. I think it's balance stock from the Oct and Nov expo sale.

The books are not in very good condition, quite a few with yellowish patches.

      Go popular bookfest la šŸ˜„

hope that MPH will start bucking up. one year ago, the sales were good; now I dunno what to say.

Anyways, me looking forward to bookfest also. Last year, there were cut out coupons (I faintly recall it was for $5) that one can offset against purchase.
Hi hquek,

I have been silently reading your posts on bookfairs and am really impressed on your knowledge for bookfairs and books šŸ˜„

Was wondering why you mentioned that you hope MPH will buck up? Are their bookfairs getting worse, I remember going for somewhere in the earlier part of this year. I thought the selection of books and prices were very good. Besides the condition of the books, is the selection poorer as well?
