Hi, are there any parents here whose child is eligible for School of Science & Technology DSA 2018? I would like to know what are the questions like for the written test? SST replied me it's based on solving real life problems using STEM.

It is really based on application questions. 1 of the question my son mentioned was on cookie shop owner who wants to make more profit out of selling more cookies. So he has a choice of 3 or 4 types of trays made of different materials and the cost of each tray is given. So they tell the owner which tray to use so that he can cool the cookies faster, sell more and make money. In this case it is about applying what they learned in Science the concept and combine with Math concept and come up with their answers. This is just the compulsory written test part. Cleared this the child will be called up for round 2 which is a half day camp where they do hands on to build something out of a set of resources given than some interview which I have no idea what they ask.
