HI all, I am thinking of enrolling my child into NC (due for P1 in 2017, registrating in 2016). Would like to check if there's a after school care in the school and if it's difiicult to enrol into the after school care? When can we start putting in our interest for a place for the after school care?


For parents who didnt manage to get your child a space in the after school care, what options have you taken?

There is a school care centre in school but vacancy is not many. Priority is given to P1 and low income families I understand previously. My son goes to Polaris Junior at Block 323B and they do mainly for NCPS, so that's the alternative you may consider.

Do you have any feedback on their center? Can you also share how do your child go to the center from/ to school, as I am afraid that my child would lost his way?

I am quite surprise that Singapore have so many \"Dragon\" Babies. So to be a Kiasu Parent, Early Jan this, I enrolled my girl to one of the kindergartens in Jurong. Luckily I am early. Heard there is no more vacancy

I am also thinking to enrol my girls to some enrichment class... Any recommendation?

I put my 2 girls on piano and music lessons. May want to consider and should start young as well.

I am also considering music classes or ballet. Would it be tto young to start? Anyone knows what's the recommended age to start them?

Hi for berries, don’t need to go for assessment for pre-primary. Not too sure for primary though…[/quote]
