Experimental Setup Questions

Question: Has the pupil conducted a fair test?

First, identify how many variables have been changed. In a fair experiment, only one variable should be changed and all the other variables must be the same.

Answer:
-Yes, it is a fair experiment because only the tested variable is changed.
-No, it is not a fair experiment because more than 1 variable has been changed and in a fair experiment, only 1 variable should be changed.

My DS's Chinese (who didn't hear the passage) said answer to question 1 should be 1 while his Chinese HOD (who heard the passage) said answer should be 3. :scratchhead:

Hi! I'm a P6 student who took the LC paper in the afternoon. For question 1, I put 1 as my answer... However I heard from a teacher she thought the answer was 2. Most of my classmates put 1 or 2 though.
