I think there aren't any course fees. Buying own camera is optional I guess. Should enquire with the CCA members though Hope this helps.

not sure if the audition has changed but in my experience, your dd will be required to perform a short routine. then there's a second round to sieve out the better dancers. again I stress this may not be accurate and may be just plain wrong. though I hope it helps

Hi! We have various rooms that can be used as dance studios and for CCAs, some good CCAs are Track & Field, Choir, UG to name a few. Most of our CCAs do quite well! For the 2 bonus points, it's not only due to CCA but what activites you take part in during the 4 years of Sec school.

MT(CSP/MSP) refers to those who take CSP or MSP as third lang
Your dd will have an electives briefing soon. Looking at her timetable, its should be this term.

it'll only apply if your daughter is taking any of those subjects if not she will have free time!

Sorry for sounding daft, but what do compulsory CCA auditions mean? Do the girls choose to attend at least 1 of the CCAs that have compulsory trials/ auditions or must the girls attend ALL the trials/ auditions of the CCAs that have been listed as compulsory?

All students have to attend the complusory CCA auditions, each class has a timeslot assigned to them, which are found below

Hi, just went to Cedar open house this morning. Was not comfortable with the Principal speech for the IP. It seems the school approach is teach less of content and let the girls to strive and learn on their own...she quoted like...students expected to read up and research on a topic before the lesson and during lesson time will be more like Q&A session..so very minimal teaching??


And for O level track, is it true the teachers in Cedar do not teach in depth but test and exam questions was very in depth and difficult. Meaning you are tested on content not taught in class...Is this true??

In my experience, the exam questions are manageable and they are based on content from the syllabus. Of course, there are some challenging questions in the paper. So not to worry too much.
