      Given XYZC - ABX = 34

      To find BYZ:

      BYZ = XYZC + BXC
      = XYZC - ABX + BXC + ABX
      = (XYZC - ABX) + (BXC + ABX)
      = 34 + 1/21010
      = 34 + 50
      = 84 cm^2

Anyway, my gut feel is that most PVs are or will be residing within 1km of NYPS for the next P1 registration...and so on and so forth.

Hi, I am new here. my DD was born in 2006. I have submitted my PV application end of last yr. does anyone know when the school will call for interview for PV parents? normally what will they ask during interview? will they give letter of rejection if we are not selected for interview?

      anyone can share your experience?

Thanks Tegami for all the info... but i think it is really hard to join CCC or CCMC.... 😞 i think doing PV may be an easier route. anyway. really thanks.

      tegami:
The membership of CCC & CCMC is assigned by the Senior Constituency Manager of the community centre (Vista, Cashew, Holland, Bukit Timah, Zhenghua or Ulu Pandan ) in that area. You can visit the CC and discuss with the Senior Constituency Manager. However, CCC & CCMC is the ‘management team’ of the constituency and community centre respectively. Thus, its membership is not as easy as RC or other GRO.

You will automatically be given a CCC membership if you are chairman of other RC/NC/CDEC/CSC and CCMC membership if you are chairman of YEC/WEC/IAEC/MAEC/SCEC. You can try to convince the Senior Constituency Manager if you can demonstrate that you have management experience.

      Hi,

I am staying in Tanjong Pagar GRC, but i would like to do grassroot leaders work so as to apply for NYPS, but NYPS is under Holland - Bukit Timah GRC. what should i do? can anyone advise me? thanks a million!

You can join CCC or CCMC in Buona Vista, Cashew, Holland, Bukit Timah, Zhenghua or Ulu Pandan in Bukit Panjang GRC. Unlike RC, CCC or CCMC members do not need to reside in the area which they volunteer. However, their membership is not as easy as RC member.

Hi mummy of 3, thanks for your help! I have heard of another mum saying she was doing PV and there seems to have some vacant slots for grassroot leaders. Yes, probably your friend is volunteering in Bt Panjang. I wondered if Grassroot leaders work for methodist schools as well , though it falls in under the GRC?

you may want to call Mrs Ong, who is in charge of the PV. I called her few weeks back. she is rather helpful and friendly.

Still no news from NPS, send emails but the school has not reply. 🙏 I have even set aside leaves to do the PV 😞

For NYPS, they make it very clear that all PVs have to do 80 hrs... not the min 40 hrs....
