anyone has experience how the cohort typically fares in O level HCL paper? my DS at sec3, could only score a high B3, at best for his HCL

so we are rather worried for the O level HCL paper next year

mine is with Indigo for sec3 IP
we have seen improvements

b4 in end of sec2
started classes in sec3
he managed to top his class in english average 85-90%

Not sure about other SAP colleges, For HCI college, to get exemption from H1 Chinese , O level students need at least a C6, IP students need at least B4 (or B3?), in O level HCL grade.

My children were from non IP SAP secondary schools. All of them require to attempt HCL from secondary 1. I know another non IP SAP secondary school does not require all students to attempt HCL. so best is to email the school to check

Any kids taken ESIS test in Sec 3? My DS school informed me that he was eligible to take ESIS test ,we have no idea about how to prepare and what topics to be tested .Really need help

for us, sec 3 ESIS seems to be open to all who are not already ESIS recipient

not exactly sure how the test will be
but they say its an IQ test.. like GEP screening test
so we didnt prepare

yup it was announced in her school thought she is not sure via PG or physical letter
she heard from parents whose kid got in

will those for fail to qualify get a white envelope? it was so for my elder few years back

Only those who got through were given the letter. For round 2, those who cleared will be getting a brown envelope. The rest, no letter as well. All done, in a hush hush way.
