Very surprise that the cheapest fee for Cherie Hearts is at depot CMPB $380 after subsidy. Aircon some more.

As for appleland in depot, lagi cheaper. ~$200 after subsidy. Aircon too!

EDUCA-ZION GROUP depot shopping centre $700 after subsidy! aircon too. branded than cherie hearts? Some more heard full house! The operator must be really $$.

      Hi happy daddy,

I have striked appleland off my consideration as the place is too cramp... though cheap but i think its crucial to have reasonable area for the kids to 'move' around....EDUCA_ZION, I went too, but was told that will have to be on waiting list..so now left on my list are cherie hearts depot, sparkle tots at alexandra.. I am exploring arts kidz at tiong bahru CC too... heard that its not bads...:D

EDUCA_ZION got waiting list? Wow.... the operator must be laughing to the bank...[/quote]haha.. u so funny....:D

No, they are exactly 51 weeks apart but they look like twins. The younger one is almost as tall as the older one and she copies the sister in everything. Now, both of them can hold a conversation with each other

Must have stamina one because I've seen alot of cases where the children are super smart but they are just left on their own (4-5 years old still cannot recognise alphabets and numbers and have been in childcare all their lives). I don't want my kids to be like that.
Reading is good! You are still reinforcing what they learn in school.... Even a little bit will do alot for their future. Jia yo!! :ugogirl:

O.. so they have very close age gap ya.. so sweet that they can communicate with each other.. imagine them using their baby language.. sweet...:D

      Hi simpsons,

I recky alot of places already. I didn't check out Cherie hearts becoz it's totally out of my way to work. Now, I'm still deciding between the PCF queenstown and my first skoolhouse @ Indus road. I have to think of the logistics of sending 2 sleepy girls in the morning so I've narrowed it down to this two that are within my budget, have a direct bus to work and good teachers. Curriculum is not a major criteria for me because I'll be teaching them at home after I finish work. I think I'm the best teacher for my kids but 😢 have to work. But I heard good reviews for Cherie hearts, you should check it out! They are in demand too so you better hurry. Plus, there's a thread on Cherie hearts, do look it up as well... Good luck on your recky! :celebrate:

I totally agree simpsons!!!  I'm sending both my girls next year to PCF childcare next year. Maybe they will be classmates... 

1st the one at Dawson always changes teachers, the one at Milk and Honey is just dirty. Although, I find the PCF at Queenstown to have a very chinese environment, when I came over (I didn't inform them) they were all speaking and giving instructions in Chinese, I think it will benefit my girls coz my Chinese . But it's hard to get slots, have you registered your child?
Hi, I have not enrolled my gal yet. I have gotten the application form.. the lady whom I spoke to say there will be ample slots .. ask me not to register now....so far, my choice is inclined to PCF but i still have reservation for chin-na teachers.. so i am still sourcing around for better choice.. i intend to enrol my gal when she is 2 (which is nov this year)..so i still have a few months to source for alternatives..keke.. i just surfed and noted another alternative.. cheri hearts at depot seem impressive too... u went there to 'recky' moh?

Hi, I just want to share all my findings while doing the search for an ‘ideal’ childcare to house my gal. I have personally been to montessori seedlings dawson, PCF at Queenstown and Milk and Honey.

In fact, initially before visiting the last 2 childcare, I have already set my mind to enrol my gal for the montessori seedlings at dawson due to close proximity to my mother as she is currently taking care of her as well as I have seen the kids there being cheerful and happy. My mind change after reading negative remarks of this childcare on line.

I went ahead to visit PCF Queenstown, I went there during the kids napping time, there was a lot of coughing that can be heard from outside before i officially step into the childcare, generally it is ok, but wat I dont like was the teacher that will be incharge of my gal class sound chin- na when she speaks, the environment was ok but seem cold as they have set their a/con too cold. My mother who has gone with us just commented that the teachers were wearing sweaters and none of the kids there were wearing any. (maybe that was the reasons why lots of coughing can be heard)…

The milk and honey is the worst among the 3 childcares. Fortunately, we have the chance to ‘witness’ an incident , that makes us determined to strike this childcare off our consideration.

After all our findings, we have decided to put our gal to PCF childcare…

    • RE: All About Montessori

      Hi,

any mummy enrol their kids in seedlings montessori at dawson mall? I have made a ‘surprise’ visit to the centre last month. Though it was a last minute arrangement, the lady who i presumed is the faciliator warmly welcome me and sit me down to briefly explain to me the procedures of enrolment and program details. What impressed me most, was all the children there seem to be so cheerful, they were all waving and giggling saying hello to me and my hubby though we were strangers. The faciliator brought us around including all the rooms, the teaching materials that they used…but dont know why she exclude showing me the toilet and i deliberate asked to see the toilet (haha…) was satisfactorialy though there is mild stetch of urine smell… haha…

Btw my gal is 15 mths who is very clingy and very selective to whom she hang out with… thought of enrolling her in childcare to learn and socialise…any mothers can provide some insight of the above childcare?
