son was really keen in a CCA but could not join because he wasnt good enough. CCA is only compulsory in his sch fr P4 onwards. This means in order for him to have a chance to be selected in P4, I should have started him on this CCA in lower primary or attend external courses and both options require $$.

      so true !

in theory, primary schools say Cca start officially, from P4 onwards compulsory.

But in reality, so many parents start training their kids from kindergarten, aged around 4 year old.
      eg
those who stay in condo hire coaches to train their kids at condo facility in squash, badminton, swimming (use the condo swimming pool, to train), tennis (use the condo tennis court), etc

      Speaking from experience?
Please not all parents are like that and hence do not anyhow say.

I heard our camera and handphone might not able to work if the weather is too cold.

      Anyone here has experience that?
What you do so you will not miss the chance of taking good photos?
Can work just tha5 batteries will deplete faster than normal.
Always carry spare batteries for camera. We used phone to take pictures after camera run out if batteries.
No call from acsi. True, have to take no call as no CO.

Did anyone call ACS(I) to ask whether all successful DSA applicants have been notified already? They have 80 DSA (IP) applicants to call and it seems like they just started calling this morning.

What number are they calling from? Is it Private Number or ACS I number?

How secure WL is? Received WL from a reputable sch and CO from another sch. Waiting for ACS I, my boy's dream sch. WL is parent's dream sch. The CO one just backup plan.
:congrats:

Maybe you need to share which sch offer the CO and WL before the others can help to advise you accordingly.

Please dun just post hear say thing in public forum… It’s like scaring ppl off and creating bad image of the sch. Just to share that some kids got in top schools, but their parents maybe not so Hao Lian to want to announce to the whole wide world via this type of platform and chose to share with their close friends and family only. Hence, therefore resulted on less ppl can ‘hear say’ MS kids got in top sch.

My nephew by the way got into RI via DSA last year. He is not a gepper for your info and my cousin cannot even bother to visit this site to announce their joy.

      Dolphinsiah, & Mum03,

Thanks for the trip report. Glad that your family enjoyed the trips.

I just starting to study in Switzerland planning for my trip too.
Do you all use just Swiss Pass along?
I will be zooming into Zermatt – Interlaken - Lucerne - Zurich (at the moment after my research) 😛

      Hi there,

Does anyone know whether HCI has replied on DSA for 2015 Sec 1 submission which closed on 4th June 2014?

      Thanks
      pho4203

Shortlisted will be informed by 21 Jun as per their website.

Just to check after the hci application online, the sch did not send out any form of email confirmation of DSA application right? I received nothing so far and I scared I typed my email wrongly .

Hi! I'm new here. Just to ask e recipe call for dry milk. I assume is milk powder. Is there any particular brand you are using?

I'm using Anlene or sometimes Omega plus. Anything as long as it is non-fat.

At times I just use creamer. Thinking 1-2 tbsp won't have much effect on my buns
