    • RE: Anglican High School

Hi dear fellow parents and folks. DS is going on to secondary soon. Just wish to ascertain certain pieces of rumour and would be glad to receive any useful info.

      1. Is it true, that this Anglican High is the easiest SAP school to enter in Singapore, since its COP can go as far out as 14 points ? The other SAP in the East have better COP like 10 or 11.

      2. I also heard something shocking and wonder any of you heard the same thing ? It seems that for the past two years, each year saw at least one student commiting suicide. Whether in school or outside school is unclear. And also heard from the grapevine that, the teachers in this school are so indifferent to such cases by now. As long as the student commiting suicide did not do so during the specific teachers lesson, the teachers would heave signs of relief. If this is so, then its worrying to send our children to there, to a school with suicide-past and indifferent teachers.

      3. I myself also saw many times, how Anglican students misbehave in the Tanah Merah Simei areas. From using coarse language (f words, b words) to conversing loudly on the MRT. But i am unsure is this a norm. Has the Christian values or moral education of this school failed so drastically ?
