any parents with children who got into p1 this yr or last yr. we are considering TPS for our son for 2021 intake but wanted to speak to someone who has experienced the school from perspective of academics (pressure on children, focus), extra curriculars for kids and a few other questions

not sure if anyone knows this but did temasek primary go to balloting for <1k for stage 2c this time for Sp citizens?

newbie here, trying to plan for next yr. currently where i live, we do not have any Primary school in 2k radius, also the school i went to in the past was not a good one so that s not an option. my strategy was to buy a small place close to the school of our choice and then have my child stay in that place during the week (so we dont everyone move together from our old place.) So, to summarize, we will have 2 places, 1 near the school (smaller one)- which will be registered address and where we will stay (on my IC and wife Ic etc) - we will also continue to stay in the current place we live in.

is this allowed? from what i have read on the MoE website, as long as we stay in the place it shud be ok - there was nothing about not having 2 residences?
have anyone experienced anything like this before - any reply much appreciated!
