    • RE: All About International Schools

Hi, I have heard about this school Insworld Institute, I did abit of research on it and found this review in a site called its education. Have anybody else heard about it, as I am thinking of sending my son there later this year.

INSWORLD INSTITUTE CELEBRATES OVER A DECADE OF ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

SINGAPORE – Insworld Institute is a British secondary school that provides local and international students an education based on a holistic approach and the British academic system. The benefits of their education system is that it provides a very successful pathway for preparing students for university entrance into medical, law, economics, business and engineering degrees. Insworld is unique in that they offer a fast track program of only 18 months with small class sizes and an excellent track record with students getting into top universities worldwide. Admissions are in January, March, July and September of each year.

After years of successfully providing British Education to expatriate students, Insworld Institute recently held an anniversary celebration dedicated to its long list of academic achievers at their school in Serangoon Road. The event was attended by esteemed guests including the British Commissioner to Singapore HE Antony Phillipson to celebrate the academic success of the school’s students and alumni, and to witness their skills and talents. Some of the event highlights included cultural performances by the students, a cultural tour which featured booths serving dishes from various regions and a colourful cultural fashion show that showcased the traditional outfits of different cultures.

During his speech, Insworld Institute’s Principal Matthew James Cole highlighted other achievements attained by its students over the last academic year. These include a successful fund raising activity organised for victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, notable mentions in the fields of sports and music, and one particular academic achievement by Insworld Institute student Miss Amreena Shamit Mohamed Asraf Nazem, who recently secured 4A* grades at A Level and perfect scores in 11 of her exams.

The school was also recently honoured by Edexcel with three of its students receiving “Edexcel High Achiever Awards” for their performances in 2013. “Insworld Institute is a school that expects high levels of achievement in all areas from its teachers and students. This event is an opportunity to celebrate our diversity but also honour these achievements,” he added.

The event also kick-started the school’s “Cultural Week” celebration. Our Clients Services Manager, Vandana Rao attended the event.
