I guess nobody in this same cohort will share publicly since they are competiting against each other. I think they will only share with their close friends now and publicly only when this whole thing is over.

Not because we are kiasu, and thus, don’t want to share, but rather we are none the wiser. Throughout my children’s growing-up years, I’ve learnt not to interfere with their learning/competitions/aspirations. What we know is past knowledge and experiences which may not be applicable or relevant now. By sharing secondary sources of information, we may end up jeopardising their chances if they go into the assessments holding onto the instructions (hearsay) we give them. The best approach is to let them find out on their own, reconstruct their understanding in their own ways so they can do their very best for themselves. As parents, we can only give them our blessing.

Anyone who ABAS application scheme got any reply?

My DS applied through ABAS and got the sms last evening. His friends applied through standard got the sms later than him. Prob they are still releasing sms in batches.

By sms to inform them to check status in the system.

NUS interview is just out.

Based on past records, the fact remains that some doors are closed on the Mainstream kids just because they don’t carry the label of GEP.

I've also received a call from ACSI offering CO IP for my DS. So did one of his classmates.
