Nope, didn't miss anything. The child will first bring the parents around the class to explain what she has done. Then were given a laptop to watch a video collage on what the kids have done in school. Followed by speech and drama performances put up by the kids. They were split up into groups to act out few different short stories. Then sang a couple of national songs. So I guess different ft has different practices.

Ok, so it's more like the FT instead of the school. Because some FT do talk to the parents during pct last week. So maybe you can \"make appointment\" with your girl's FT to talk to her if you have concern? šŸ˜„

My daughter is currently in P1 and we were shock to find out there is no formal PTM in rmps. Her report book is still empty and with us since we got it from the bookshop. The form teacher has not collected. Really disappointing with the school's practice in this aspect. We have no formal feedback on how our kid is doing in school. Hope the new principal onboard next year will be better in this area.

I suppose this requires getting used to. It has been like this since Mrs Wong came on board. You are free to contact the teachers anytime you want to obtain updates, rather than only during scheduled PTMs.

Err...these no exam for P1s, so what would you like to see in the report book? :scratchhead:

My dd also in p1, and we just attended the \"PCT\" last week. The FT do talked to individual parent on the student's progress and we got to see my dd explain to us on one of her work in class, although its a fast one.
šŸ˜“ you missed it?

[quotparentsw74\"]Hi, not sure if anyone here meeting the same problem. Some of the school consent forms in the snaapp are unable to launch, keep giving blank page and closed. I've try launching in several different mobile devices, still seeing same problem. Can't even submit reply for the parents briefing session. 🤷

I have long given up on this IT thing. Have been using the old fashioned way.
This is the most common answer I get. šŸ˜“
So in the end parents became the environment unfriendly one? :rotflmao:

Same here. Wonder if it has anything to do with the expiry date. Checked the notification logs and saw that the consent forms have an expiry date of 6 Feb, which is earlier than the dates stated in the notification. :slapshead:

The deadline for the briefing is today. Anyway, the school did not take attendance for the past years.

The problem here is it can't be launch day 1 since I received, till it expired today. 😢
In that case, guess I just walk-in on that day. šŸ˜‰
Thanks.

I think it should be Top 80+ split into M & N. This was your son allocated to his class this year, as well as his class next year.

I am not sure whether the school will still use Onsponge for P3 onwards next year. This year, they didn't.

Yes, this year p3 not using Onsponge math any more.

May I know what are they using for this year P3 then..
The best is for you to attend the school Parents' Symposium to have a better understanding from the HOD. šŸ˜‰

Yes top class is M & N in which 1st 40 would be 270 to 300 pts (M) & N class follow by that. The rest are all normal classes.

Students in M& N classes would be expose to Onsponge Maths, Higher Chinese & extra words for spelling. It is very stressing for kids & both parents in the M& N classes.

ABC Parents:
Hi

May i check whether there are any PV (parent volunteers) who has started PV work for child registration this year?

Have called the school 4 times but every time was told to wait for their call. It is already Mar... thot we are suppose to complete before Jun14?

Appreciate comments pls. Thank you.
Did you went through a PV \"interview\" session last yr? Which they separate parents out based on various dept that they will be helping?
If you still remember which dept/teacher-in-charge you are assigned to, maybe you will like to contact that teacher-in-charge instead?
