    • RE: [Tampines] Primary Schools

Hi, my second child (6yrs) is going for his P1 registration this year.

I would like to share my thoughts and wonder if anyone has any to share as well?

My personal review, no offences šŸ™‚

Just wondering, instead of focusing only on the school standards & popularity, what about the students?

My eldest girl is in Chongzheng, but I decided I will not register my son there.
One thing I must agree that the teachers there are good, as most of them are able to access every child individually. Anything they find wrong with your child, the parents will be notified most of the times. Unfortunately, I don't really like the friends that my girl mixes with.

Tampines north primary is not a very popular school, however, my brother (now 17 years old) was from that school, although he graduated from Tampines North with a mere 212 for PSLE, but, he has never gone \"astray\" during his days in Primary and Secondary School. Now he is in Poly, undergoing Financial Informatics, with pretty good O level results.

My colleague's son is also now in Tampines North Primary, and he is one of the top students with fantastic performance (maybe can qualify \"through-train\" (duno is that how u spell it)

So now I intend to put my son to Tampines North, actually my preferred is St Hilda's, but i think chances are slim as i am not nearby...

Do you think I am going the wrong direction to let go Chongzheng for a less popular school?
