My dd will be attending p1 next year and I would like to start her on piano lessons. As I am not musically trained in any way, I am now totally clueless on where I should send her. Hubby said to send her to cristofori but I would like to explore more schools/teachers (no need too commercialize ones) before making a final decisions.

Would greatly appreciate if someone can give some recommendations on where I should look pls

I would like to enroll my girl into Kong Hwa School since it’s my maiden school. However, I can’t find my primary school report book/PSLE and have only my sec school report book that says my primary school is Kong Hwa.

Will that suffice for Phase 2A2 registration or will I have to go MOE to have a reprint of my PSLE results?

Wanted to share about my experience with local music schools. So far bad experiences with both Mandeville and Mac Music school and would strongly not recommend it to anyone as they are just concerned about making money and not passionate about teaching kids. At the same time they are unresponsive and unprofessional in dealing with parents like us (kept changing our schedules last min and do not offer any alternative, we have to keep calling to follow up ourselves on re-arrangement of classes.) and staff are ill-trained on course curriculum.

I'm pretty new to this forum..

Firstly congrats to those who successfully got the school they wanted!

I am also considering sending my girl to Rosyth when its her turn to go P1.. She is 3 this year but I think I will need to register by next year for PV... so need to do some serious thinking.

I'm staying within 2km of rosyth and am also an ex Kong Hwa girl.. so its either Rosyth or Kong Hwa..

Can someone pls share more info about both schools like their overall performance (both academic, CCA, achievement, enrichment programs if any..etc)?
I really want a school that balances on both academic and character building and not just focus on academic performance..

I might even move nearer to Rosyth if necessary hehe..
