      Nyahnyah:
Wonder how is the orientation like? The kids wont know their class yet right?

      Hi Nyahnyah,

They will know their class n b seated according to their class during orientation, unless there's a change in d orientation as it's a new principal now.

During my DS orientation time, I recalled we went to d hall, my boy was directed to sit with his class. Then they were brought to their classrooms by their respective form teachers while d parents stayed behind in d hall to listen to some talk by d Principal . I did see some parents sneek out of d hall to check on their kids, including my hubby haha. But anyway, not to worry, after d short talk, we were directed to our kids' classroom n we were introduced to d form tcher n also got to c their classmates.

After that , we proceeded to d canteen (the stalls will b opened that day) where d kids had d opportunity to buy food n drinks from d stalls. Opportunity for me to c what food was available so that I know whether to pack food for my fussy DS.

Bookshop n uniform shop will b opened that day too.

On d first day of school, all p1 will b assigned a p5 buddy for a week to help them during recess . My DS had a very nice buddy, showed him around d sch , told him what food was nice , n on d last day of his assignment gv my DS some stickers . There will b PSG members to assist d p1 during recess in d canteen too for d first week.

Hope all these infor helps .

    • RE: Q&A - P4 Math

      Hi,

I've a question that goes like this-

Each digit can be used only once.
Arrange the digits 2,4,7,8 and 9 in these boxes so as to get the largest and smallest possible products.

      Largest product. : [ ][ ][ ] x [ ][ ] =
      Smallest product : [ ][ ][ ] x [ ][ ] =

      The answer is
      872 x 94 = 81968 ( for the largest product)
      489 x 27 = 13203. (for the smallest product)

The answer said that the method is by \"guess and check\". So wouldn't the students have a number of combinations to try out ?
Is there a more direct method in doing this kind of question rather than by guess and check ?

Thanks for helping me answer my question šŸ™‚

      Hi
If u ask yr child to count from the drink stall, the chicken rice stall is d 4th stall.
And if u look at my recent posting, I've posted d link to d photos of d recent mass pe which is actually a mass walk to d east coast beach.

Otherwise, u can also go to d PSG Facebook to c d photos . From their Picasa album, u can c more albums of d activities in sch.

      Cheers!

      Myeo:

My girl is also in P1 Love and i saw the time table yesterday. But can someone tell me what is FTGP?

Also during days that there are PE, can she wear the PE shorts to school or still must wear the uniform and change to the shorts later?

i saw some female students wearing just the PE short (w/o the skirt) to school
so i intend to do the same, wearing short and skirt can be too cumbersome for her.

      Hi šŸ™‚
When there is PE, they can wear the pe attire the whole day, meaning the blue shirt (or the yellow shirt for those who still possessed the old uniform design) and the pe shorts.
      Hope this infor help.

      Hi all,

      I've got a boy in P1 Unity šŸ™‚
I was looking at the timetable, what is ASB? All these abbreviations need a while to get used to.

Mrs Kiasu, could the teacher have kept the Health Ed book? DS says his was kept by the teacher so that they don't have to bring it back and forth. Maybe write a note to the teacher to check?

      Hi,
      ASB stands for Assembly. šŸ™‚
