RE: [Novena] Preschools
A friend’s child is with Pat’s. Two thumbs up for their curriculum and dedicated teachers. I can see a difference in her child’s articulation and confidence level. Fees are on the higher end if u compare it with the average childcare.

Relocate & Skip PSLE. Gain entry to Sec Sch when back?
We are considering to relocate for a few years but my elder child is likely to miss PSLE. Sch has advised that we come back for PSLE. Without PSLE cert, how likely is it for my child to gain entry to a gd secondary sch when we are back? Without PSLE cert, is DSA possible?

RE: Victoria vs Dunman High vs Tanjong Katong
I understand that Victoria is a full boys sch. Is it mixed at A or IP? I supposed Tanjong Katong belongs to a different league. A relative is at Dunman High. I understand that their Chinese culture is very strong.
I am keen to find out more about Victoria vs Dunman High too. Hope someone knowledgeable can shed some light. -
RE: All About Choosing and Buying Pianos
Headache2010:
Personally I would choose a teacher with ABRSM qualification. Asia-pacific qualification may not be recognized in UK or Europe if your child has the potential to further in music. Plus, application for DSA is using ABRSM as a benchmark. Consider carefully.
My DD started learning at age 4yrs 3mths (Mar 2010). Teacher/music school recommended a Casio keyboard.... right now, we are looking at upgrading it to an acoustic or digital piano as DD will be going for her exam next year.
I fullly agree with DD teacher's recommendation as I will only invest more when my DD shows great interest with music/piano.
Does anyone have any comment on ANZCA vs ABRSM? I like ANZCA because it's a lot more lively as compared with ABRSM. But I heard ABRSM is a lot more widely accepted but not ANZCA, say for DSA.
Thanks -

Hi, if I am not wrong, the Society is opposite KKH. The office is likely to be there. You may want to check it out.
