Found this thread here, registered an account to find out more information on schools to go to, on behalf of a friend with a child taking PSLE this year.

i read in the newspaper that they just scrapped the iPad scheme, so has this school gone back to totally hardcopy textbooks or have they just replaced the iPad with some other device? My friend is abit concerned since an iPad or any other electronic device will be quite expensive.

Especially since i heard the textbook publishers also charge extra for a hardcopy + ebook bundle of their titles to any school using ebooks for their students. Does this happen in this school?
