To avoid further speculations, I gotta explain:

I missed the session due to other urgent matters and had informed sch in advance.

This school is brand new, can't comment much yet on programmes and teachers.

CCA not up yet, understood from teacher no CCA for P1.

In Jan, teacher said library not ready yet, but they have small library corner with Ladybird series storybooks.

This is 1 school whom already introduced PAL which is a holistic approach to develop kids overall well-being.

Kids in P1 have no exams so they will be 'assessed' based on ongoing work, starting fr March or Term 2 (can't remember exactly what tr told me).

Uniforms and PE attire are 2-in 1, ie same uniforms, save the trouble to change attire for PE, don't require ironing too).

So far, a little change in staffing (change of teacher) and bus operator (happening in March).

Principal focus on kids overall development rather than just academic, he claimed.

so so mummy - was thinking to find a reliable taxi driver to help. Still looking for it. There was a student from Palm view,her father was a taxi driver and will fetch her at school everyday. Asked his help before. But :idea: too bad, his taxi was fully booked.

What a lucky student to be fetched by daddy and so nice of him to extend it to others! It is a good idea, just not easy to book 1. Hope you find a solution soon ~ did you put yourself in his waiting list in case someone back out
Ps : operator had transferred my ds to a mini 〜 yes more exp and no choice gotta accept as distance cut by half ~~

Btw do you stay in hougang cos tot there are few student care near school? And is the school starting student care soon with enough demand?

Cyranocrash ~ nice driver that lady and stress out for initial 40+ stops.

Now she is happier with 30± LOL
She encouraged me to wait for boss arrange mini bus, she seems confident that boss is trying. Fingers cross that it won’t be above 100++ like other moms cos of special arrangement! Whatever it is, will use backup plan if ds still not use to it. Period.
Btw just heard most of the 10+parents opt out sch bus and fetch on their own,only abt 2-3 change to mini ~Envy~

Bless u ~ this is also my ideal ~ arrive half hour. Think you just gotta follow-up with operator boss and negotiate now, few weeks down the road, everything would be fixed and final~ gd luck to everyone

Stress mama ~ my boy very used to snack in between thus take a bit of time to adjust I think~ and think food is for comfort purpose as 1hr journey is no joke ~ tired,giddy,bored,hungry.
