PM Lee HL is the big boss of MOE (HSK), LTA.

If PM Lee say, \"let all the badly affected students from Yishun, Woodlands, Sembawang, Punggol, Sengkang, far North, Far East, use Bishan ITE premises\", issue with Mount Sinai would be settled, right ?

      Sotongmax,
Is your child one of the badly affected student, or actually not in any of these 3 schools ?

If your child not studying in these 3 schools, not staying in the badly affected areas, you will not feel the sense of urgency & panic, because you are not in their shoes, in the first case

      Phtthp,

Sorry, my kids have long past this stage. I am not saying this because of your alleged assumption.

My question to you - Is this the biggest national issue that can guarantee personal attention of government leader(s) when far greater problems of national proportion are cast aside and not even addressed.

How many petitions have gone down the drain ? Please answer this question to find solution to your own answer.

sotongmax : you have your own views but you won't understand the frustrations of affected parents. Time will tell if the govt will step in but there are parents who are optimistic about the matter[/quote]Tell me why I don't understand the \"frustrations of affected parents\" of this small issue.

I tell you a bigger frustrations of the affected parents of these kids will face in time to come - competitions for jobs, Faked MIL degrees of FT, local PMET retrenchment, disadvantage of NS men etc.

Is this enough for your understanding of frustrations ?

Add this latest frustration - Gahment latest stand - \"get a degree may not the best assurance of your Kid's future\".

So Why IP or Non-IP ? more frustrated ? More confusion I guess.

Wow, you are the very tua kong (big stuff or bro ) hor ?

If this case can even see LHL personally (rather than HSK), then many even bigger issues won't be hanging around ..

I am confident that the authorities will do something to help these affected students. The parents have spoken. Watch this space !

can a few parents / students representatives from the 3 schools book an appointment, see PM Lee HL personally to discuss, expedite ?

from now till 2017, only 1.5 years left

I understand it is rather effective leaving comment on FB of the relevant ministers. HSK LTY etc.

To date, just how many petitions have been responded and listen to ?.

Unless you have the intensity and severity (eg like withdrawing applications) of the Sengkang collabarium issue, this one will be just another passing \"hot\" potatoes.

    • JC (Science) or JC (Arts ) ??

I am really a sotong dad whose daughter will go JC in 2013. This is my first post in KSP.

As a blur sotong, I wish to find out more about JC (arts) or JC (science) options as I have not been in touch with local A-level for a long time.

What subjects (at H1/2 or 3 level) combination for Arts or Science must be taken ?

What prospect for JC (arts) and JC (science) at the local UNI level.

Really appreciate the forummers here for all your answers.

      TIA.
