RE: Travel: Korea - General
Received the following message when I texted Ski Korea about the confirmed bus timing from Seoul to Alpensia.
"Hi, not yet. There has been a delay as it’s still very warm and the resort hasn’t opened yet. We have your booking and we will be in touch when we know what is the best option for you." -

My kids are 10 and 12spitzcookie:
Can anyone share their winter holiday checklist with me? It's my kids' 1st winter holiday so worried I might missed out something...
How old are your kids? Other than clothing (just think through from head to foot and you should have got everything!), the main other \"winter\" items we always bring are moisturiser and lip balm.
Daughter has aczema. Need to apply more moisturiser, right?
My mum told me that when she followed the tour group to Korea last Dec, she was told to put on the free facial sheet mask that was given by the tour guide during the flight from Sin to Seoul. Was told it's good for the face? -

RE: Winter Clothes
Think I will just check in our winter boots (daughter and mine) cos they have retractable spikes on the soles. I've asked a friend who works at the airport if it will pass the airport screening, she said better check in cos of the spikes

RE: Winter Clothes
Oh dear, daughter and my winter boots have the metal claw thingy on the sole. Not sure if can let us pass or not

Ok, thanks for the tip of not going sockless! Our winter boots are fur-lined so will it be very exaggerating if we wear them and walk around the airport?
Don't go sockless - you may sweat and it will make the insides not so clean! Wear thin socks if you want to wear the boots.spitzcookie:
I remembered someone mentioned that in order to reduce the bulkiness in our luggage, I can wear my winter boots during my flight from Sin to Incheon. However, wouldn't it be very warm if I pair it with Heat Tech socks? Should I just wear normal socks or even go sockless? I've attached the links of our winter boots for your reference, thanks!
