Suggestion only. Never do this itinerary before, not sure on the \"practicality\" of the transportation wise. If u hire driver, then would be easier but more expensive.

Day 1 -- Reach Taoyuan Airport --> Most likely U hv to arrange driver to Miaoli Flying Cow Ranch or pay for Flying Cow Ranch to pick u from airport.
Day 2 -- FLying Cow Ranch / Chun hsiang Strawberry Farm
Day 3 -- Proceed to Taichung - Sinshe lavender farm OR Sun Moon Lake & Formosa
Day 4 -- Taichung - Sinshe Lavender Farm OR Sun Moon Lake & Formosa
Day 5 -- Cingjing Day Trip --> Proceed to Taipei for night train.
Day 6 -- Taipei - Baby Boss / CKS Museum etc.
Day 7 -- Home Sweet Home

hello… mummies… I need help. I planning to go Taiwan in March (2A, 2C) next year but am clueless abt how to plan my itinerary. I want to do farm stay but which is nearest to Taoyuan airport? Saw all these fun place but dun noe are there near to one another anot since I intend to do a 6D5N??

Yes, you can bring medicine to GC. I brought cough, running nose and fever medicine for my kids just in case they fall sick and also brought my own medicine for sore throat, inflammation and antibodtics cos i was sick.

I brought packet noodles, uncooked rice (vaccum packed) and packet chilli sauce in.



I put a tick at the medicine and food there. Then they ask me what food and medicine, I just tell them. I wanted to show them but they said no need. After that they chop on the form and let me pass.

Another Singaporean couple at the next counter brought cup noodles, packet milo and cereals all passed. One of the forum member at hardware zone forum also brought in the packet milo from kids meal in plane and was allowed to pass. If i know i dun force ourselves to finish the packets of milo in plane and bring to GC.

But you must remember to declare every food you bring in, if you not sure just declare, the most they will throw away if cannot pass. If you dun declare, you may be fined. So dun take the risk, dun knw just declare.

I have watched the documentary in GC. As long as it is raw food and anything that can be planted into the ground cannot be brought in. Those controlled or restricted medicine also cannot be brought in.

Me too.. Brought med such as fever, vomiting, cough, flu med & lu yi you oil for the kids. Then also brought sachets of milo and instant coffee. All put in check in luggage. Hand carry got some sweets and biscuits for the kids. Immigration officer did ask me what med I brought so I juz told them its for the kids. Then when lining up for round 2 check, an officer asked me what food I brought so I juz show him the tidbits for the kids and he let us pass too. However, I saw a Chinese guy being called up coz he brought in food without declaring and they warned him if he did not declared nxt time, he will received a fine..

We went as per planning so covered Movieworld, Seaworld, whales in paradise, harbour town shopping & walk in surfer's paradise. Underestimate their weather coz it is super chilly. Got to buy jacket for my boy there coz nite was soooo cold when wind blows. We are lucky tt it was sunny thru out my stay in GC but tt also means kena a bit sun burnt coz their sun was scorching hot. Do apply sun block there too and lots of moisturiser coz air quite dry.

When did you go? Did you go to Paradise Country farm on 13 June? I saw one Singaporean family wear bermuda there, is it you?

not us coz we went on 17 June onwards plus I find it too chilly to just wear bermuda there..

I am helpless with direction at nite..u did not go dreamworld too?? Btw, how old are ur kids coz mine 4 & 7 so movie world rite shld be ok?? I give paradise farm a miss coz going for the whale cruise. Hope it is fun too

Sorry for the late reply. I didn't reply on public transport. I arranged transfers with Con-X-ion. I had airport transfers, theme park transfers, etc.

We left the theme parks at closing time Sun rise were before 6am and started to darke at about 5.30pm when we were there.

My kid and fren's kid are 7 going on to 8. They have the Kids Zone at Movieworld - kiddy rides, coaster ride, etc catered for them so yep, it's okie.[/quote]
How much did you pay for the airport transfer?? Actually wanted to try their public transport as it is cheaper but the thought of lugging the luggage ard makes me having 2nd tot :yikes:

I noe that if we bring food and medicine, I need to declare but where can I get the Incoming Passenger Card since mine is F&E trip, therefore no tour agent to pass it to me? Then can bring standby medicine for kids anot?

Gold coast is just a great place to bring kids. Even the public playground by the beach is so much fun. Avoid dec when it becomes incredibly hot!

Are there many playground along surfer's??
