      Hello all,

I would like to know if there is a break for nap between N1 (AM) and the PM Montesorri classes?

      Thanks 🙂

Thanks Zappy, you raise very fair points about how bringing up a child is a personal journey. My daughter has yet to start P1 and the worrying has begun. Hopefully I will be able to remain calm and look beyond grades when the real stress sets in.

I am pleased to hear about the opportunities to grow and try new things, do you have some examples of that?

All the best to your child with the PSLE this year!

Thank you for your input. I agree wholeheartedly that it is up to the parents to determine the level of stress. I was from a so-called ‘elite’ school, but did miserably at my PSLEs and went to a less-than-desirable neighbourhood school.

As such, I am struggling to find a balance between adequately pushing my child, and letting her have her ‘childhood’ !

    • RE: Nanyang Primary

      Hello everyone,

I would like to know why Nanyang Primary is such a popular school? There is no affiliation for the boys, and the affiliation to NYGH is not particularly good. Just wanted to know as my husband is an alumni, and we are in the midst of deciding which school to send our daughter to.

Nanyang undeniably produces top performing students. But it is no secret that the stress levels are off-the-charts as well! Am genuinely interested to know what makes this school stand out, and why?

Would appreciate any input, thank you!
