Welcome to KCP!
I think BFE 95 disposable masks are good.

And for the reusable, my kids like Ultifresh ones which they find to be comfortable.

Hi Parents- i am a mommy of p1 and our private bus from amber/marine parade has a room to add a few more. The bus is newer and timing is later than the school contracted bus. Any interested parents pls PM me. Thank you! -

I can only comment on Berries at preschool level is very immersive. they speak chinese 100% during the lessons, no english at all. but it's fun coz they do art and dance around and things. but if the child does not have strong enough foundation, the may tell you that they can't take your child on. at the primary level, it might be quite different. i know they have different courses for standard and higher chinese and they will ask you to do more than just 1hr a week so be aware that there will be more fetching the kids around etc. which is why we switched to home tuition. with more than 1 kid, it becomes 3D chess. hahaha!
Thanks Stheng! What is the format like for Berries vs Tien Hsia at P1 level? What have you heard about Tien Hsia - is it very classroom style? I’m worried they will find it boring if so. -

My #1 went Berries in kindergarten, later in primary switch to home tuition purely for logistics reasons, but base on my experience and what friends tell me about the other 2 centres, i think Berries good enough
Hi parents, my daughter has got a place at CHIJ Katong for P1 2021. Wondering what Chinese enrichment most parents send to for that age? Any reviews of Tien Hisa, Wang Laoshi, Berries or any other recommendation for that level?
We don’t want a super stressful place but need the extra exposure for her as we don’t speak Chinese at home. So far her Chinese is ok with the daily kindy Chinese enrichment and Berries once a week. Thanks in advance! -

Hi, I’m looking to connect with some SS parents here, especially those whose boy/s will be in P1 in 2021.
Thanks -
RE: CHIJ (Katong) Primary
Hi, Orientation Day is usually the last school day of the year before your girl’s enrolled year. So eg of your girl is enrolled for yr 2021, her orientation is the last school day of Term 4 of 2020. It’s usually a half/full day affair, including buying books and uniforms etc. which if there are long queues may stretch out to a full day. 1st day of school is always 2 Jan. Yes they have buddies and the P1 teachers are awesome so you really don’t have to hang about too much. That is definitely only half day, if even that. Welcome and good luck!
