I just found out that the nearby PCF had a half day program at TGPS where they went around the school and parents attended a talk.
What a pity! My girl does not go there and we missed the opportunity.
But i understand they have filled up 3 classes at the sibling phase of p1 registration.

Without an open house, really hard to see what the school environment is.
I don’t think they will allow me in to take a look, for fear that more parents will do that. Probably only can see on orientation day.
Sounds like the mummies here are quite happy with the school.
What are the meet the parents sessions like?
And for P1 kids, are parents allowed to go in on the first day? Like outside the classroom? Or canteen?
THanks for the replies. A child entering P1 is indeed more stress than i expected! -

Thanks I’ll do that. Any idea of the open house date?
But cannot just walk in to see the school right?
IN general how do the mummies here find their teachers?
The pupils? -

Thanks for the reply…Oh I think it’s good to start later.
Slower pace for lower pri is Ok with me but what about upper pri? -

Hi mummies! I am new here. Thinking of a primary school for DD next year is so stressful!
I live close to TGPS and thought of sending her there.
Mummies please advise what are the good and bad points if any about the school>?
Are the teachers caring and is safety emphasised?
Thanks!
