No need go training lah. I mean you train your child go into GEP it’s not natural wat. Let’s say your child no. 17 in class. You train all the GEP test questions and he get in. He won’t be able to cope with all the syllabus and in GeP it’s really stressful. My boy oso never go training, he got in, now p6 he got difficulty coping. Imagine a child that is trained only to go in the program. So based on my experience, i don’t think you should go training

Yes, it’s okay. I too feel she’s a nice girl. I think she did those actions because of stress. Not work stress, family stress. The family is putting pressure on her and hates her. She often thinks about suicide… This is a learning point for all of us parents, never put too much stress on our kids

Excuse me! This is a website for parents! And you GEP kids are faking names and they are crude words some more!! This shows that you are all immature and not sorry! I regret sending my child for the GEP program if you guys continue. But nonetheless, the girl is sorry and Mister has raised valid points and her heart is broken.

Thank You Mr Hwang! I will go and buy those books tomorrow at popular. My son said that the girl had deactivated her account. She really regrets it, doesn’t she. And can you help me ask your son if he is now doing mainstream or GEP work? Because my boy had been scoring 52/60 for his math problem sums, so quite worried

Hi sunflower mother, I also know about this group. I think you should not report her lah, this is her last year in Primary School. If you report her, who would accept her? Also, many people will stereotype all the GEP kids and say all are like that girl and our children will be looked down at. Also, my boy knows of the girl (same school)and I am quite surprised she wrote those comments. She is a kind and helpful girl and had helped my son with his EL compo(he is very lousy in el comp) and also helped him photocopy the worksheets she lost. I would definitely talk to her and ask her about the comments. She is only 11/12 years old, not yet mature and don’t know the effects of using those words. BTW, my son said her compo was always the model compo and she was selected for many essay programs. Anyway, there is always a ‘leave group’ button if u don’t want your child to get influenced. You should also counsel your child.

P.s. Know any good compo books?
