As I left Rulang Pri at 3.30pm, the Q was at 57. I assumed that means 57 parents had registered for today. And all SC. Waiting anxiously for 6pm tmr for the final figures. Last yr there was 70+ at 2A2. Hopefully this yr the figure stays ard there as there are only 86 slots.

Any news on Rulang? I’ll be registering my son next week in phase 2A2. Worried that might have to ballot.

phtthp:
Thanks for the detailed answer...
in view of recent balloting statistics / results for 2013 P1 intake, if you want peace of mind -stressful_mummy:
my boy is born 2008.
I'm an ex student of Rulang Pri sch.
So my son will definitely get in is it? That is phase 2A2 right?
Based on past trend, yes to both questions. However, if in the year of registration for your child, applicants > vacancies balloting kicks in.
Should I register as Alumni to ensure my chances are higher? Or don't need to?
wiser to join (Phase 2A1 + be an ACTIVE alumni member)
when you're active, (Rulang Principal knows you personally + you are aware of what's going on (recent events taking place in your school) - so that you're well faciliated to guide your child in all aspects of Education matter, even before your child start Primary 1)
if you're sleeping, (Rulang Principal doesn't know you at all + you're not kept in the loop of recent \"current affairs\" / events happening in your school)
I guess I might need to register for alumni then.. -
