    • RE: BOOK Fairs

I found a way to get kids interested in ‘serious’ books. I brought them to the Peranakan Museum recently, it seemed to stimulate their interest. There was a small bookshop next door, I relaxed and drank coffee while they browsed the books. They ended up getting afew about Asian culture and art, without my involvement. Never happened before. Think I’ll bring them every holiday, if I can keep them interested.

I’m very thankful for my 1st maid, she helped bring the kids up and helped us alot. We should honour them.

    • RE: Do you cane your daughters when they misbehave?

I think cane can be used when there is extreme bad behaviour, like extreme rudeness, stealing, serious lying etc. Of course then again maybe should have started caning before it’s come to that.
