    • RE: Hotel Booking Websites

      Hi aloyboy,

I got problem when trying to book for hotel room in Tokyo.
For example, if I indicate 2 adults it's so much easier to get a room. However, when I indicate 2 adults + 1 kid, most hotel will show there are no rooms to accommodate 3 person ??

We did thought of not indicating our child upon booking but afraid that we will face problem upon checking in :slapshead: :nailbite:
For yr info, our child is 8 years old, definitely no way to hide him since he is so big size already đŸ˜‰

Just came back from Tokyo. It was a reward for my boy after almost a year of PSLE stress!

I initially booked a triple room at Grand Pacific Le Daiba through Agoda as we had previously stayed there before. Agoda has the best rate then. The rooms are considerably big. The single beds(120cm) are wider than most of the hotels in Japan. If you are sharing bed with your kid, please check the size of the single beds. Some are only 90cm wide.

I cancelled my booking a few days b4 departure and booked a triple room at Tokyo Dome Hotel through Booking.com as I wanted a more convenient location. Agoda charged me a USD15 cancellation fee.

My boy asked if I would be disappointed if he can't get distinction for Maths. I told him getting a high 'A' is as good as a borderline A*. I guess sometimes we parents have indirectly put pressure on our kids without knowing. I recalled I once told him Maths and Science are the 2 subjects that he has chances to score distinctions

wow, it’s time to paint the town RED…celebrate, you have worked hard…

now it’s time to play hard.

now that PSLE is over, a lot of P6 parents will be clearing stock, selling textbooks at second hand, to make space available for bookshelves, for Secondary 1 use.

under Garage Sale, many parents clearing stock now

I am more kiasu. I have already cleared all on the eve of science paper, waiting for garang guni man to collect. I just can’t stand the loads of paper and books lying around my house. If used assessment books are accepted by NTUC, I am more than willing to donate.
