Hello parents! I have a couple of questions..
My daughter was in RGS, going to Year 5 next year.
When do we normally get info on RI? Referring to info like 1st day of school, books n uniform purchase?
When will the school give us the login info to Stamford RI portal?
When can we start applying for MOE ISB?
I sent an email to the school but no one replied. Calls to the school also went unanswered.
Thanks!

RE: DSA 2020 - NUSH
Hi everyone
I have a question. To apply for DSA in Maths or Science, what are the requirements? Does my child have to excel in these subjects? He is scoring 80-ish in both subjects. He doesnt have any extra activities related to the 2 subjects though.
Thanks! -

Hi Shiv & Lakesidemum!!
Congrats to ur daughters too! I didnt sleep well last night. Even in my dreams i was checking my phone. Haha! And woke my daughter up once i received the SMS.
Probably there’ll be a long queue for books and uniform. But I was told we can also get uniforms from Bibi & Baba.
Looking forward to this new journey with my daughter
If there is a Whatsapp group for RGS parents, i’d love to join! 😊😊 -

Thank you!
You should have been given the specs in the description. As far as I recall, air is lighter, but pro has better specs. It depends on preference. All those recommended will be fine to use.suehanah\" post_id=\"1953510\" time=\"1576574667\" user_id=\"107778:
Hi everyone.. for the macbook, which one is advisable for us to get? Macbook air or pro? Or is there no difference? Thank you!

Hi everyone
Anyone happen to still have this year’s year one’s booklist? I’d like to take a look and see what books the students use in year One. Thanks in advance! 😊 -
RE: West Spring Primary
Hi all,
Just my thoughts:
My hubby & I are also working parents who work shifts. We have 2 children in 2 different schools and thus have twice the number of events and field trips to attend.
How we do it is this: we both take turns to attend the events.
So far this year, we have missed 3 West Spring events.
It’s true we have to be responsible workers but above all we should be responsible towards our children too.
West Spring is the only school I know of that actually open their doors widely to parents and I commend the staff of West Spring for this.
The school has also given us the dates of all their events months ahead, and I believe this gives us ample time to plan our leave.
Just my two cents worth.
Cheers -
RE: West Spring Primary
West Spring has done a good job in organising the various events n activities. Inviting parents to attend these events are indeed a good move as this enables us parents to witness our children in school and the things they do. I hope West Spring will keep this up. Kudos to all West Springers!
