Any reviews on Dunearn Sec and Assumption English school?


Not much info available on Dunearn Sec website.
AES campus looks quite nice. Any feedback if non Catholic going to a Catholic school ?

Dunearn Sec - how is the students behavioral? Not much info can be found on their school website and the principal's message is so soft thatI cant hear a single thing
Their Express COP 188-246 and Normal (A) COP 153-191. May I know why the COP scores is like this? Does this means that some 188 students opt to go Express?

DS got 203.. and we are staying at Bukit Batok.
Not sure if this is a logical choice. Hope to hear some feedbacks from parents..

Yes if borderline Express, can choose to go N(A) to save some stress coping.
Seems like it's a norm to put 1st choice for those higher than achieved COP to bet on schools dropping this year.
Things to consider, even if you just enter schools with the same COP as your score, you will be the bottom of the pack. The rest of the co-op will be same or higher T-score than you.

Do consider going for schools with lower COP so you will not be in the bottom and therefore should reduce some stress, hopefully, unless there's super compelling reason to choose the higher COP.

Yes, that's my concern too.
With 203 and entering the school with the same COP dont seems to be a good idea but there aint any other schools in the west side! AIyoh..

My niece got 205 and is looking in this area too. Besides those 3, you could look a bit further afield to New Town (204, Dover), Queenstown (191), Tanglin (188, West Coast).

I agree - there are very few schools in this range. Basically, these are the 6 I found in this range without travelling too far afield.
