Wrong info given by school staff. I’ve got the orientation letter today. Anyone else got theirs?

Is it true there will not be any letter sent to us with regards to the booklist and the class which your kid is in?

I think the earliest batch of pupils affected is either P4 or 3.

Thank you Tulip, for taking the time and providing me with the info I need. Yes, so the homework could be not being able to complete in class. I’m glad! I’m hoping the KCPPS is like that as I do not wish my boy to be "overloaded" with homework at the start of P!. If homework is given on Fridays, its alright.


Wow, teacher’s name card? I have not heard of this before. Most of the time like you mention, its the school phone number. Never the teacher. Its good. not that I will bother the form teacher but in case there are urgent matters, its faster rather then going through a whole "line" of office people.

Hmm…this new P must be not too bad. At least the direction that he gives to his teachers is to provide constant feedback and parents are able to get in touch with their kids form teachers easily.


After your feedback, I feel more reassured putting my boy there. The only thing I wish is the school function as a single session but its impossible as based on today’s standard its quite small.

Also can I check with you, parents who are picking up their kids, they will park at the nearby hdb carpark, is there a side gate? Will the kids be at the gate by about 6.45pm after flag lowering?

Hi Tulip, would like to know if your girl is enjoying school so far? I saw you wrote they have homework to do everyday. Is it plenty? How are the teachers in this school? DO they work closely with parents?

Sorry for asking so many questions. So far the only feedback I received is this school is not bad but I find it very difficult to get more information maybe cos they do not "advertise" as much as some other schools on their website. The only detailed information I received is standard of the school has improved alot in the last 2 years.
